Pack Hoops

We are Pack Hoops, a boys club basketball program serving players in the Laveen/South Mountain area. Your young player will thrive in our program that emphasizes both skill and character development. We have teams for 7th-8th grade players and 5th-6th grade players. We limit roster size to maximize practice and game play for each individual player.

Ages

Our players are in grades 5-8. 4th graders may try out based on skill and roster openings.

When

Our season begins with tryouts in mid-August and continues through mid-May. We expect families to make a commitment for the full 2025-26 season.

Where

Practices are held at Arizona Lutheran Academy. The school is located on 27th Ave & Southern. Games are played at various locations throughout the Valley.

Practices

Teams typically practice 2 times per week, on Monday and Wednesday nights. Exact times vary based on gym availability.

Games

Teams only play on Saturdays, one game per day. We play 3 separate seasons (Fall, Winter & Spring). We also play 2-3 mini-tournaments, also on Saturdays. Each player will participate in about 35 games during the season.

Jerseys

The club provides 3 things for our Pack uniform - 1 reversible game/practice jersey, 1 pair of game shorts, 1 club t-shirt. The cost is included in the club fees.

Extra Costs

Families do not pay any extra costs, outside your regular club fees. Game admission and parking is free for spectators. Your monthly club fee covers everything!

CLUB FEES

The club fee for the entire 9-month program is $1250. Payment can be made in full, or broken up into a $250 registration fee, then 8 monthly payments of $125.

Players who join during the year pay the $250 registration fee, plus the remaining $125 monthly payments.

When families choose to commit to Pack Hoops, we expect the players will participate for the entire 2025-26 season. Improvement and development happens best with consistent practice and instruction over a long period of time.
